All Barossa fruit aged entirely in French oak, 75% new. A rich, heady perfume with floral notes of violets and black berry fruit leading the way, with a hint of minerality in the background lending it gravitas. Loads of ripe fruit on the palate, with huge depth and concentration, the floral notes come through again, as well as the ripe black fruit and minerals adding complexity towards the finish. the acidity is nicely in balance and the tannins are malleable and fine, leading on to a toasty, long and fine finish. As impressive a RWT as I can remember.
